Do you host events other than weddings?
Yes. While weddings are at the heart of Willowcreek, we may also host select private events, corporate gatherings, retreats, celebrations, styled shoots, and other estate events depending on date, guest count, event type, and availability.
Because the property is primarily designed around weddings and elevated gatherings, each non-wedding event is reviewed individually to make sure it is a good fit for the estate.
How many guests can Willowcreek host?
Willowcreek can host weddings from intimate celebrations of around 20 guests up to larger estate weddings of 200 guests.
For the smoothest guest experience, we often recommend around 150 guests or fewer, depending on package, layout, season, selected spaces, and weather plan. For celebrations closer to 200 guests, we recommend discussing layout, rentals, staffing, catering, parking, and weather planning early.
Can we hold both the ceremony and reception onsite?
Yes. Willowcreek is designed for both ceremony and reception celebrations on the estate.
Couples can move from getting ready to ceremony, cocktail hour, portraits, dinner, dancing, and guest gathering spaces without needing to send guests to multiple locations. The exact flow depends on your package, guest count, selected spaces, season, and final layout.
What ceremony and reception spaces are available?
Willowcreek offers a variety of outdoor ceremony and reception options across the estate, including garden, lawn, courtyard, and water-view settings.
Available spaces depend on guest count, package, season, weather plan, and final event design. During the planning process, we help you understand which spaces are best suited for your celebration and guest flow.
How long is wedding-day venue access?
Wedding-day access depends on the package selected.
Many full-day weddings include up to 12 hours of event-day access, while select wedding weekend packages may include expanded estate access, overnight accommodations, and additional time before or after the wedding day. Your agreement or proposal will outline the access included with your specific package.
Can we see layout options?
Yes. Layout options depend on guest count, selected spaces, rentals, season, weather plan, and the overall flow of the event.
We can help you understand how different layouts may work across the estate, including ceremony placement, cocktail hour, reception flow, dinner setup, dancing, vendor needs, and guest movement. More detailed layout may be provided by your planner.
Can we take engagement photos at Willowcreek?
Yes. Willowcreek couples may be able to take engagement photos onsite as part of their wedding experience.
Engagement photo access must be scheduled in advance and coordinated with Willowcreek so we can confirm timing, property availability, approved areas, and any photographer access details.
What does all inclusive mean at The Manor at Willowcreek?
All-inclusive at Willowcreek means couples begin with a beautiful, supported foundation instead of starting from scratch.
Depending on the package selected, that foundation may include estate access, ceremony and reception options, selected tables and chairs, basic layout guidance, setup and breakdown for included Willowcreek items, venue-side support, staffing, security, catering credit, simple floral elements, cake or dessert, décor access, and other package-based details.
Exact inclusions vary by package, guest count, date, layout, event type, and final agreement.
Does all inclusive mean everything is included?
No. All inclusive does not mean every possible wedding item, vendor service, upgrade, rental, floral detail, design element, or guest experience is automatically included.
It means Willowcreek provides a clearer foundation for the celebration, and then your wedding is shaped around your guest count, priorities, style, package, and selected upgrades. Your proposal or custom quote will clarify what is included, what is optional, and what may need to be provided by outside vendors.
What may be included in a Willowcreek package?
Depending on your package, a Willowcreek wedding may include approved estate access, ceremony and reception spaces, selected tables and chairs, basic layout guidance, setup and breakdown for included Willowcreek items, ceremony arch or featured ceremony piece, catering credit, simple floral elements, cake or dessert, selected décor access, venue-side support, staffing, security, and guest parking.
Because every celebration is shaped by the couple’s guest count, date, layout, package, and event plans, exact inclusions will be outlined in your proposal or agreement.
Are florals, décor, and cake included?
Most all inclusive packages include simple floral elements, cake or dessert, décor access, or other curated details.
These inclusions vary by package and are meant to provide a beautiful foundation, not necessarily a full custom design plan. Full floral design, large-scale installations, specialty rentals, upgraded candles, custom styling, upgraded linens, signage, and other design-specific details may be added separately or coordinated through approved vendors.
Can we host welcome events, brunches, or rehearsal-related gatherings?
Yes. Select packages may allow welcome events, brunches, rehearsal-related gatherings, or additional estate moments as part of a wedding weekend experience.
Availability depends on the package selected, guest count, date, timing, staffing, food and beverage plans, and final agreement.
Can we customize our wedding?
Yes. Customization is encouraged.
Willowcreek gives couples a foundation, not a template. Some couples keep the design simple and let the estate carry the day. Others add florals, candlelight, specialty rentals, upgraded linens, signage, guest experiences, lounge pieces, welcome moments, or planner-led design details.
Your quote will help clarify which customizations are included, optional, or separate.
Can we have a custom quote made?
Yes. A custom quote is often the clearest way to understand how Willowcreek could work for your specific celebration.
Your quote may consider your preferred date, guest count, package, ceremony and reception flow, wedding weekend needs, food and beverage plans, design priorities, overnight use, upgrades, and add-ons you are considering.

What do we still need to book?
Even with an all-inclusive package, couples may still need to book or arrange certain outside services depending on the package selected, guest count, event style, and final plans.
Common items that may need to be booked separately include photography, videography, entertainment, officiant services, beauty services, transportation, specialty rentals, upgraded floral design, custom décor, planner services, and any guest experiences or design details not included in your package.
Your proposal or custom quote will help clarify what Willowcreek provides, what is optional, and what you may need to arrange separately.

Do we need a wedding planner?
While a planner may not be required for every celebration, we strongly encourage working with one — especially for wedding weekends, larger guest counts, detailed setups, custom designs, or events with multiple vendors.

Can we host a wedding weekend at Willowcreek?
Yes. Willowcreek was designed with wedding weekends in mind.
Select wedding weekend packages may include expanded estate access, use of The Manor, approved overnight accommodations, additional time on the property, welcome moments, rehearsal-related gatherings, getting-ready spaces, wedding-day celebrations, and a slower farewell the next morning.
Exact access, timing, spaces, and overnight use depend on the package selected and final agreement.
Can we stay overnight at Willowcreek?
Yes. Select wedding weekend packages include approved overnight accommodations inside The Manor.
Overnight access is limited to approved overnight guests only and depends on the package selected. Full-day weddings do not include overnight accommodations unless specifically stated in the agreement.
How many guests can sleep in The Manor?
The Manor includes 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and can sleep up to 18 approved overnight guests in select wedding weekend experiences.
Additional overnight possibilities may be available through select Grand packages or approved arrangements, depending on package, guest count, date, and final plans.
What is the difference between event guests and overnight guests?
Event guests are guests attending the wedding or celebration.
Overnight guests are the approved individuals staying at The Manor as part of a wedding weekend package. Only approved overnight guests may use bedrooms, overnight bathrooms, private house areas, or overnight amenities.
Is The Manor included with every wedding?
No. Access to The Manor depends on the package selected.
Wedding weekend packages may include expanded Manor access and overnight accommodations. Full-day weddings may include designated getting-ready or event-use areas, but they do not include full house access, private bedroom use, or overnight accommodations unless specifically stated in the agreement.
Is there a minimum night stay?
There is a two night minimum required to stay overnight in the Manor. If you want to extend the experience by booking extra nights we encourage that and many people do to explore or spend time with their loved ones.
Can guests pay for their own rooms?
In most cases, lodging and overnight use are handled as part of the couple’s Willowcreek package or agreement rather than as individual room bookings through guests.
If you would like to structure overnight guest contributions privately among family or wedding party members, that would be handled separately by the couple.
What time is check - in and check - out for our wedding?
For those staying on property, check-in is at 5:00pm and check-out is 11:00am. We do offer a late check out add on on if available.
Do you have more accommodations available?
Yes. Additional overnight accommodations may be available through select Grand packages.
Because overnight accommodations are limited and demand can be high, we recommend planning as far in advance as possible if staying onsite or expanding overnight guest accommodations is important to your wedding weekend.
Your proposal or agreement will clarify what overnight accommodations are included with your selected package and what may be available based on date, guest count, and final plans.
Do you offer onsite catering?
Willowcreek does not operate as a traditional in-house catering company, but our all inclusive packages include a catering credit or food-related package details.
Catering specifics depend on your package, guest count, menu preferences, event style, and final vendor arrangements. Your proposal or custom quote will help clarify what is included and what may need to be arranged separately.
Do we have to use a specific caterer?
Catering requirements may vary by package and event type.
Some packages may involve preferred, approved, or package-connected catering options, while others may allow more flexibility. Because food service affects guest experience, staffing, setup, cleanup, timing, and property care, all catering plans must be approved by Willowcreek.
Do you provide alcohol?
No. Willowcreek does not provide alcohol directly.
Couples may have alcohol service through an approved company with the proper licensing, or they may choose a BYOB-style option when approved as part of the event plan. In all cases, alcohol service must follow Willowcreek’s rules, insurance requirements, and applicable South Carolina alcohol laws.
Self-service alcohol is not permitted. Bartenders are required for alcohol service at Willowcreek.
Can we use outside vendors?
Yes, outside vendors may be allowed with Willowcreek’s approval.
Vendors must follow venue rules, insurance requirements, property access guidelines, setup and breakdown timing, cleanup expectations, and any package-specific requirements. Some vendor categories may need to come from a preferred or approved list.
Approval for vendors must occur 30 days before your event.
Do we need a wedding planner?
While a planner may not be required for every celebration, we strongly encourage working with one — especially for wedding weekends, larger guest counts, detailed setups, custom designs, or events with multiple vendors.

What happens if it rains?
Willowcreek has weather-conscious planning options, but the available rain plan depends on your guest count, package, layout, and selected spaces.
The Dance Hall is the included weather plan for events that fit within its approved guest count and layout. For events over 150 guests, Willowcreek does not provide an included rain plan. If you prefer or require a tented rain plan, tenting must be rented separately and coordinated through an approved vendor.
Weather plans should be discussed early, especially for larger guest counts, outdoor-focused layouts, or events with detailed setup needs.
Is a tent included?
No. Tenting is not included as the standard weather plan.

What send-off items are allowed?
We love a beautiful send-off, but all send-off items must be approved by Willowcreek in advance.
Biodegradable options are preferred and may be allowed with approval. Dried flowers, dried herbs, ribbon wands, bubbles, and biodegradable petals may be permitted depending on location, season, cleanup needs, and final event plan.
Red petals are not allowed because they can stain surfaces. Confetti is not allowed unless it is approved biodegradable confetti.
Fire-related send-off items are only allowed outside and must follow weather conditions, fire restrictions, local rules, and Willowcreek approval.
Are candles allowed?
Candles may be allowed with prior approval and must follow Willowcreek’s safety requirements.
More destructive or higher-risk flame items are not allowed inside The Manor. Candle use may depend on location, container type, setup, season, fire risk, vendor involvement, and final event plan.
Are drones allowed?
Drones may be allowed with prior approval.
Drone use must be coordinated with Willowcreek in advance and must follow venue rules, safety requirements, weather conditions, guest privacy, vendor requirements, and all applicable laws or flight restrictions.
What accessibility features are available?
Willowcreek is a private estate with both indoor and outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, paths, gravel, and natural terrain.
Accessibility may vary by selected spaces, guest count, weather, layout, and final event plan. If accessibility is important for you or your guests, please let us know early so we can discuss parking, ceremony location, reception layout, restroom access, and the best guest flow for your event.
Is there a noise ordinance?
We do have a noise ordinance. Keep noise levels within reasonable limits, especially during evening hours, to respect local noise regulations. All loud music must be turned off at 10pm
Will The Manor be open during the event?
During the ceremony and reception, The Manor may be locked or access may be limited to protect the house, personal belongings, vendor items, and overnight guest belongings. Full-day weddings do not include full house access, private bedroom use, or overnight accommodations unless specifically stated in the agreement.
A Willowcreek team member or approved representative can help with approved access if needed.
How do we officially reserve our date?
Your date is officially reserved once Willowcreek has confirmed availability, the contract has been signed, and the required deposit has been received.
A tour, inquiry, proposal, conversation, or contract request does not reserve a date.
Do you hold dates?
No. Willowcreek does not hold dates.
Dates are reserved on a first-come basis once the agreement has been signed and the required deposit has been received. Because we host a limited number of weddings each year, availability can change quickly.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially if you have a specific date, season, guest count, wedding weekend, or overnight accommodation needs in mind.

Can we request a custom quote?

Can we request a contract instead of a quote?
Yes. If you are ready to move forward, you may request a contract during or after your tour.
We will still confirm that your date is currently available before sending the agreement. Your date is not officially reserved until the agreement has been signed and the required deposit has been received.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Willowcreek offers payment schedules for weddings and events.
Your payment schedule will depend on your package, date, event type, and agreement. Payment details will be outlined in your proposal or contract.
What is your cancellation policy?
All payments made to Willowcreek are non-refundable.
Because wedding dates are limited and reserved specifically for each couple, we strongly encourage couples to purchase cancellation insurance within 14 days of signing the agreement.
A cancellation is not considered official until it has been confirmed by both parties in writing. Please review your agreement carefully before booking, as the agreement will outline the cancellation terms that apply to your specific event.
Do we need event insurance?
Yes. Event insurance is required for every event at Willowcreek.
Couples purchase this coverage separately, and Willowcreek does not provide it directly. If alcohol will be served, an alcohol rider or additional coverage may also be required.
We will walk you through the basic requirements in your agreement or planning materials so this step is clear and easy to complete before your event.
