The Manor at Willowcreek is in Landrum, South Carolina, in Greenville County and the Blue Ridge Foothills. We're about 41 minutes from downtown Greenville, 39 from Hendersonville and 43 from Asheville airport, and close to Spartanburg, Travelers Rest and Tryon. The estate sits between Charlotte and Atlanta, an easy weekend trip for couples and guests from across the Upstate, Western North Carolina and the wider Southeast.

Willowcreek is a private, European-inspired garden estate wedding venue. We specialize in wedding weekends, with a Manor where your closest people stay, and we also host single-day weddings. The estate's eleven acres hold gardens, the Willow Ponds and gazebo, a creek, a sliding-rock waterfall, a tree-lined drive and an 1820s gristmill, with seven places couples have chosen to marry.

No. Willowcreek is an exclusive-use estate. When the estate is yours, it's only yours.

We're about 15 minutes from Glassy Chapel and less than an hour from Pretty Place Chapel, which makes Willowcreek a natural choice for a reception and wedding weekend after a chapel ceremony.

Greenville-Spartanburg International (GSP) is about 32 minutes away. Asheville Regional is about 43 minutes, and Charlotte Douglas International is a major hub for guests flying in from farther away.

Starting in 2027, we'll host select private events, corporate events and retreats. Each is quoted individually.

Yes. Couples get ready, marry, celebrate and dance without sending guests anywhere else.

It depends on how you celebrate. Single-day weddings have the estate from 10am to 10pm. Overnight stays follow the dates in your contract, with check-in at 3pm and check-out at noon.

Yes. We consult on every layout with you and your planner, from ceremony placement to dinner and dancing, and your final layout is set together during your final walkthrough. We're happy to walk through layout options with you during your tour.

Yes. Once you've booked, engagement or bridal portraits on the estate are complimentary, by private appointment with our team.

Yes. Guests park on the property, and our golf cart shuttle is sized to your guest count. Additional carts can be added, and car service or guest transportation is arranged separately by the couple.

Yes. Wedding weekends are our specialty. A typical weekend runs Thursday at 3pm to Sunday at noon, with your closest people staying in the Manor and up to 200 guests for the celebration.

Along with your stay in the Manor, a wedding weekend includes your full wedding day on the estate and two smaller gatherings of your choosing. Most couples plan a welcome or rehearsal dinner and a farewell brunch, but they're yours to shape, and our venue host, staff and golf cart shuttle are there to support each one. Your caterer provides the food.

Yes. A custom weekend begins with a custom proposal, built in a sit-down meeting with you, your planner and our team, so questions are answered quickly and the proposal is shaped together. Custom proposals are available when you work with one of our preferred planners.

Every package includes time for a rehearsal on the estate, should you want one, planned with you ahead of time. On a wedding weekend, it falls during your stay, and the estate is yours for a rehearsal dinner with the caterer you choose. For a single-day wedding, the rehearsal is usually the Thursday before, and an evening on the estate for your rehearsal dinner can be added as an enhancement, when the date allows.

Yes. Our Bespoke & Grand arrangements accommodate up to 48 overnight guests, created through a custom proposal.

The Manor has five bedrooms, five baths and a game room, and currently sleeps sixteen. We plan to expand it to accommodate more.

Yes. Wedding weekends include the Manor. Couples planning a single-day wedding can add a Manor stay starting six months before the wedding, when the Manor is available, with the same two-night minimum.

Yes. Every overnight stay in the Manor has a two-night minimum.

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at noon. Your contract lists your exact dates and times.

The Manor is included with wedding weekends. Single-day weddings include getting-ready areas on the property, and a Manor stay can be added starting six months before the wedding, when available, with a two-night minimum.

Event guests attend your celebration. Overnight guests are the people staying in the Manor as part of your stay, usually your wedding party and closest family. Only overnight guests use the bedrooms and private areas of the house.

No. The Manor is booked by the couple as one house, not room by room. If your family or wedding party wants to share the cost, that's arranged privately among you.

No. During your celebration, the Manor stays locked to protect your belongings and the house. Our staff is on hand to let overnight guests in when they need to.

The Manor is furnished as a home, and its furnishings stay in the house. Our decor closet is yours to explore before your date. You're welcome to book a time to visit, and the pieces you'd like are reserved ahead of time, so our team can have them pulled and ready for your planner to style. You can adjust your selections as your plans come together. Anything from the house that's damaged, moved or lost is the couple's responsibility to replace.

Yes. Every vendor must be licensed, insured and approved by Willowcreek at least 30 days before your event. Vendors who haven't been approved by then can't work on the estate.

Yes. If there's someone you'd like to work with who isn't on our preferred list, we can work with them to get approved for your event.

Willowcreek doesn't provide catering. You're welcome to bring the caterer of your choice, as long as they're approved by Willowcreek and carry their own business license and insurance. Your caterer may be asked to add Willowcreek to their policy.

Yes. You can bring your own alcohol, served by licensed bartenders, or arrange bar service through your caterer or a licensed bar company. Alcohol may be served for up to six consecutive hours. Self-service isn't permitted, and all service follows South Carolina law.

Willowcreek is your venue: the estate, our team on your day, and support on the estate side. Everything else is booked directly by you, with vendors approved by Willowcreek, including your planner, catering and bar service, florals and design, photography and video, music, officiant, hair and makeup, and transportation.

Yes. Every Willowcreek wedding has a full-service professional planner. You're welcome to work with one of our preferred planners, who know the estate well, or any full-service planner on our approved list. The planner you choose is contracted directly by you.

Every package includes our 40 by 80 foot tent, which seats up to 200 guests. In the case of severe weather, we'll work with you to reschedule.

Yes. Our 40 by 80 foot tent is included with every package.

Our approved send-off items are dried flowers, dried herbs, ribbon wands, bubbles and biodegradable petals. Anything outside that list needs our approval in advance. Red petals aren't allowed because they stain, and confetti must be approved biodegradable confetti. Sparklers and other flame items are permitted outdoors only, in safe weather conditions, with our approval in advance, so we can make sure everything follows current law and help coordinate your send-off.

Yes, as long as they're enclosed. Willowcreek has a no-open-flame policy everywhere on the property.

Yes, with prior approval. Drone use must follow our safety requirements, weather conditions, guest privacy and all applicable flight rules.

The estate includes lawns, gardens, gravel paths and natural terrain. If accessibility matters for you or your guests, tell us early so we can plan parking, ceremony placement, restrooms and guest flow together.

Amplified music ends at 10pm.

We open the calendar to wedding weekends up to three years out and single-day weddings up to two years out. The more involved your plans, the sooner we recommend booking.

Yes, for Bespoke & Grand weddings, and for private events, corporate events and retreats beginning in 2027. Depending on what you're planning, a planner or coordinator joins that consultation to help shape the proposal with you.

Yes. Your payment schedule is outlined in your contract, and we prefer smaller, evenly spaced payments over a few large ones. Missed payments may result in cancellation of your contract, as outlined in your agreement.

All payments to Willowcreek are non-refundable. Cancellation insurance is required for every package. We recommend purchasing it within 14 days of signing, and it must be in place within 30 days. A cancellation is official only once both parties confirm it in writing.

Yes. Event insurance is required for every event, with an alcohol rider if you plan to serve alcohol. Please send your certificate to events@thewillowcreek.com.
