The Manor at Willowcreek is a private estate wedding venue in South Carolina's Blue Ridge Foothills, between Greenville and Asheville. A sliding-rock waterfall, a creek that runs the length of the property, two ponds, gardens, an 1820s gristmill and a Manor with white porches, held for one wedding at a time.
If what you've been picturing is outdoors but elevated, private but still a real party, you'll recognize it here. Willowcreek is eleven private acres built around a Manor, designed for wedding weekends from the start and made for gathering the people you love.
The Estate
Your wedding day on a private garden estate
The red gristmill has stood across the Willow Ponds since the 1820s, and the old maple in the Courtyard has been there almost as long. For your wedding, it's all yours.
Vows under branches older than anyone in attendance. A quiet minute by the sliding-rock waterfall, just the two of you, while the party waits for its guests of honor. Dinner on the Grand Lawn, with every person you love in one place. And when the music stops, a short walk back to the Manor, where your closest people are already home for the night. Here are the spaces where it all unfolds.
The Manor
A European-inspired manor at the heart of the estate
It starts at the front door, with an entrance that makes everyone pause on the way in. By evening, the people closest to you are gathered around one long table, and when dinner ends, the night moves out to the porches stacked above the gardens, where the conversation runs well past midnight. For your wedding weekend, this is home.
Ceremony Spaces
Garden ceremonies, as quiet or as full as you'd like
Some couples marry close to the house, under the old maple with the Manor behind them. Some marry by the water, with the red gristmill across the pond. Some take the long walk down a drive lined with old trees, every guest turning as they come. Seven places, seven different weddings. One of them is yours.
Reception Spaces
Good food, good people, and dancing under the stars or the tent
Some couples fill the tent on the Grand Lawn with long tables and candlelight. Others set dinner out behind the Manor under the open sky, with the porches lit above them. Either way, the toasts run long, the dance floor fills with people who swore they'd sit this one out, and the music plays until ten.
The Grounds
Places to wander between the big moments
Between the ceremony and the party, there's the rest of the estate. A path into the creek woods for the two of you and your photographer. The sliding-rock waterfall, where weekend guests have their shoes off by Saturday afternoon. The quiet edge of the Willow Ponds, for the grandparents who'd rather sit and watch. Some of the best corners, you'll find on your own.

Spring
Why we love it in spring
Spring is when the estate wakes up. The gardens come back into bloom, the willows green over the ponds,
and the days are usually mild enough to keep everyone outside.
Summer
Why we love it in summer
Summer is when the estate is at its greenest. The old maples throw deep shade across the lawn,
the ponds sit still enough to reflect the house, and the light lasts long after dinner.
Fall
Why we love it in Fall
Fall is the foothills’ season, and the estate shows it. The old maples turn,
the red gristmill suddenly matches the season, and the evenings call for a jacket.
Winter

Winter is when the Manor House comes into its own.
The trees go bare, the grounds go quiet, and everyone gathers under one roof.
